Early Season is the last two weeks of June & the first two weeks of July High Season is the last two weeks of July & all of August through the first week ending in Sept. Low Season is the first two full weeks of Sept Off Season is anytime after the second week in Sept through mid October. 11. When do the cottages open or close for the season? Our cottages can open as early as mid May and close as late as mid Nov. Some cottages are not “Winterized” which means there is no or very little heat. These cottages open no sooner than June 1 and close mid Sept. Other Cottages that are winterized we use them for a “Winter Rental” A winter rental is a rental that consists of signing a contract for several months: from Sept/Oct 1 through May/June 1st. (and not all winterized cottages that we have are on our winter rental list.
