Introduction While they won’t admit it, many people love McDonalds. They also love their health, but though they know that excessive McDonalds consumption isn’t good for them, they eat it anyway. This article analyses the nutritional information provided on the McDonalds website and finds that McDonald’s range of chicken sandwiches tend to be healthier than those containing beef. Source Data There is a pdf file containing nutritional information on McDonalds’ Menu on the McDonalds website. I have assumed that the nutritional values are the same for each country, though some friends have told me that American portions are larger than UK portions. I used PDF To Excel to convert the pdf menu to Excel, and then used basic sorting functions to help me identify the best and worst sandwiches.
