What are the healthcare provisions for expatriates living in Germany?

If you are living in Germany and are of European Nationality (British) and: Are working and paying National Insurance or Are retired then should be entitled to the same health care as the Germans. Otherwise you can get a form (Used to be E111, but has changed now) that will give you full access to the German National Healthcare system. This is possible because the UK will grant Germans in the UK full access to the UK National Health Service too.
