What are the health requirements for beginning school?
State law requires that all students have a medical (physical) exam before entering kindergarten. (Dental exams are recommended, too.) We ask that the completed forms, signed by your physician, be turned into us on or before the first day of school. Children who are without completed health records by October 15th must, by law, be excluded from school. We suggest you make an appointment early in summer. Doctors find it impossible to accommodate all of those children who need examinations in the one or two weeks prior to the opening of school.
