That is a slightly bigger Question than some of the Answerers seem to think. Please look at the HSE (DSE) site for the correct information in an easy Guidence Note. Everything that you need to know in order to comply with the Law is in the Display Screen Equipment Regulations 1992, published by the Health and Safety Executive. The HSE web site has very clear guidence notes, but they’re quite large.
