What are the hazards of working in mines?
There are the physical dangers that others have so eloquently presented, presuming that you are not familiar with what a mine is. What type of mines will you be working in? Different substances attack the body by different manners. Many of the associated problems you will deal with is non contaminated air supplies or air with concentrated quantities of dust. There are at least 42 different types of metals mined in Europe, which do not account for the fossils fuels being harvested. Being careful is an understatement and having a team of individuals that can look into the eyes of your spouse and tell them that THEY will make sure you come home alive today. I work in a high risk environment and I do work with a team that looks out for my families money provider. We are in situations regularly where someone may not come home. Take your time.
