What are the hazards associated with lithium sulfur dioxide batteries, and what precautions should be taken when storing or using them?
If mishandled or abused, lithium batteries used in the AN/PRC-96 can vent sulfur-dioxide gas. When sulfur dioxide reacts with water, sulfuric acid is formed.
