What are the harmful effects of video game violence to others?
Well if played on a very frequent basis, then violent games can elicit elevated levels of aggression, but I can hardly believe the claims that ignorant people make about video game violence influencing the young audiences. Of course there is some influential aspects, especially on younger audiences who are more easily swayed by media, but the fact of the matter is that video games are not promoting younger people to run around the streets with RPGs blowing up helicopters or running over people with cars.
