What are the hardware needs for a corporate structure using Cockpit as an enterprise wide PDP tool?
The hardware requirement question depends on the number of concurrent users you expect. A good rule of thumb is about 10 simultaneous users per processor. You can serve everyone from one location or you can use separate locations. It is more driven by how you want to manage your server hardware as we have customers doing it both ways. Consider how many actual Cockpit users you expect in 3-5 years and how frequently you expect them to be using the Cockpit. If you don’t know the number of concurrent users, a reasonable estimate is the total users divided by 5.
