Stable releases all have an even sub-version number, e.g. 6.0.0, 6.0.8, 6.2.0, 6.4.0, 7.0, … As a general rule only bugfixes will be added to this version(s), no new features. The latest available stable version is 6.0.8 (a.k.a. 6.008). Bugs in this version will be treated with a high priority. Bugfixes for versions 6.2 (not yet available) and up should be sent to me. – Unstable (or ‘beta’) releases: Unstable releases all have an odd sub-version number, e.g. 6.1.0, 6.1.1, 6.3.0, 7.1.0. In this versions new features are added. To be able to introduce fundamental changes without breaking many installations these releases should ONLY be used by beta-testers and/or experienced XBasic users. Bu
