What are the guidelines for the disposal of demolition debris at the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex (CCSWC)?
• Asbestos waste, whether friable or non-friable, encountered during the demolition of structures must be removed and disposed of prior to demolition of the structure in accordance with proper asbestos disposal procedures. All asbestos waste whether friable or non-friable must be double bagged in order to be accepted for disposal at the Cumberland County Solid Waste Complex (CCSWC). Asbestos waste will be accepted at the current tipping fee in effect plus a $135.00 per load administrative fee. • Propane tanks are to be removed and delivered separately to the CCSWC. • Oil tanks and 55 gallon drums are to be recycled.
