What are the guidelines for submitting a petition to the Legislative Assembly?
Typically, petitions can only be submitted in the Assembly by private members (ie. Opposition members and government MLAs who are not Cabinet Ministers), and must adhere to the guidelines as described on the Legislative Assembly’s website. Once you have completed the process, forward your petition to the Edmonton Riverview Constituency Office. Kevin will review the petition and consider tabling it in the Legislature.
