What are the guidelines for creating a password for Account Access?
Make your account as secure as possible by creating a password that: • Avoids dictionary words • Uses both digits and punctuation • Uses a word only you are likely to know and is easy to remember (e.g., mother’s maiden name, name of a childhood pet) • Passwords are case-sensitive (the system recognizes the difference between a capital letter and a lower-case letter) and must be 6-30 characters long. The following special characters are not permitted: ^, &, *, (, <, >, “, ‘, %. Your password may not be the same as your username.
