What are the guarantees for my company and investments in Bulgaria?
^ A.: Guaranty is provided in three different groups: statutory protection, judicial protection, and ours personal services & protection if necessary. Statutory protection: The protection of foreign investments is proclaimed as a constitutional principle, so the investments and business activities of Bulgarian and foreign natural persons and legal entities are protected by law (Art.19, par.3 of CRB – Constitution of the Republic of Bulgaria). Investments made by foreign individuals on the territory of the country profit of all protection mechanisms and remedies provided for in the legislation. Foreign investments and business activity of foreign persons receive national treatment. It represents a law possibility whereby foreign persons are granted the same volume of rights as is the case with local persons. The national treatment enables foreigners to use all remedies available for the protection of investments as regulated by the internal legislation.
