What are the grievance policies?
Grievances are referred to PsyBCs director of continuing education or to its director who communicate directly with the individual with a complaint, each of which is addressed on an individual basis. In cases involving interactive programs and when the grievance is made while the course is taking place and involves the content or pedagogical aspects of a course, the instructor is often brought into the process. The goal is to try to meet the needs of the students by making any adjustments possible to improve their learning experience. In cases concerning library papers and/or interactive case study or when a grievance is made after a course is completed, the complaint is treated within the context of PsyBCs reimbursement policies. When it is not possible to make adjustments to a course and our policy precludes reimbursement, PsyBC attempts to give credit for another course or online offering.
