What are the grade and/or enrollment requirements to join a fraternity or sorority?

In order to join a Greek-letter organization, a man or woman must be enrolled in at least 12 hours at The University of Texas at Tyler and must have a minimum grade point average (high school or transfer). Individual fraternities and sororities do have a specific grade point average requirement to join their organizations, so please check the NPC Recruitment and IFC Recruitment websites for more information. In addition, NPHC organizations require that students have completed at least 12 hours (sometimes more). You can visit the Delta Sigma Theta national site for requirements for this organization.
