What are the good things to do/see in NYC>?
Restaurants: Balthazar. It’s between Broadway and Lafayette St on Spring Street. It’s amazing. Good prices, excellent service, delicious wine and just an all-around great atmosphere. Brunch at Pastis (9th Ave and 14th Street) delicious Tourist Sites: If you’re going to do something touristy I’d recommend walking through Central Park (do not take a horse and carriage ride, they’re a waste of money and just cheesey). Central Park is massive and there’s loads of little ‘sections’ that are simply divine. For example: There’s a skate circle where people roller skate/blade to funky music and it’s ridiculous to watch. Also the lakes and zoo are cool too. And, do the Empire State Building. You get some excellent views. If you have to go to Times Square…. then see it after you go to a play. I highly recommend Wicked. Phenomenal. Non Tourist Stuff: Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge (a la Walt Whitman) and get amazing pizza. It’s a breathtaking view and full of historical significance.
