What are the good things about wired internet and wireless internet?
Wired + Typically no contention + Typically very good throughput + Reliable – Cabling can get messy and look horrible Wireless + No cables required + Can move from room to room – Throughtput is less than Wired, though the new N-Technology is catching up – Signals can be impeded by the distance from the wireless router, microwaves, other wireless devices – The more nodes on a wireless network, the more contention (collisions etc)
