What are the goals of the 2009 Junior Tour?
As parents of juniors who have competed on the Canongate Junior Tour in previous seasons, you know that Canongate takes pride in organizing and running a full schedule of great events. We have decided for us to continue the tradition we began of hosting well-run junior events and for our Junior Tour brand to remain strong and not diluted, we need to focus on a schedule of fewer events this year. The current economic situation is impacting our resources that have previously been devoted to running our junior events. In a nutshell, some of our teaching professionals have elected to take Golf Professional positions or are simply having to allocate more time on the lesson tee. We also know that many of your families are also impacted, and a schedule with fewer events requires less of a financial commitment and may be more feasible for you.
