What are the goals for the 2009/2010 school year?
Each year, we establish goals for SEM at Laurel Mountain. Many of the goals are simply restating the foundations of the program, while others may extend previous successes to new areas in the curriculum. *In grades K-5, students will participate in an Enrichment Cluster Showcase to highlight products and services created during the 6-8 weeks of clusters. *Continue to utilize the Renzulli Learning System (RLS) within the classroom by creating projects and assignments to be completed by students. *5th graders will use the Personal Success Plan (PSP) on Renzulli Learning System (RLS) to set academic and personal goals throughout the school year. *IIM will be used in all grade levels K-5 within the regular curriculum and with student directed projects taking place in the classroom. *Build and utilize each child’s Total Talent Portfolio (TTP) and communicate contents with parents. *Robotics lessons will be taught in all classrooms grades K-5. *Offer E-slot Electives to all students grades K
