What are the Global Citizen Year Apprenticeships?
Apprenticeships are community engagement projects that, first and foremost, address community priorities. Projects will likely be in the areas of education, public health, environment, appropriate technology, agriculture, economic development and microfinance. You will work alongside community counterparts with a local NGO, which has primary ownership of the project. Your apprenticeship will allow you to dig in, get your hands dirty, and learn about how NGOs are working in communities to address local priorities and global challenges. Return to top.
