What are the geographical restrictions on Mp3 downloads about?
I just was trying to download a free MP3 as a german residient. I was lead through the “ordering-process” by specifying my (german) credit-card that is already defined in my preferences but had to enter “your new billing address”. The form was set up in a way that only american addresses were able to be entered. I haven’t tried to enter a random address in there and I don’t know the effects that might lead if Amazon tries to send bills by postal service to the address and they return with “unknown recipient” as reason. So to answer your question. Yes, it should work with you australian credit card (at least my german card hasn’t been denied) but as long as you don’t reside in the USA you still will not be able to buy songs from Amazon MP3.
