What are the general performance characteristics of BrokerTrak in terms of response time?
BrokerTrak is a real time system. Transactions are visible to all users, front and back-office as well as Web users, as they are executed. The time required to capture a trade and update all required files, positions, archives, inventories, general ledger, trial balance, etc., is approximately .5 to 1 second. Exclusive of Web users, we have noticed no degredation of response time with as many as 350 network workstations attached to a single server.
