What are the general entrance criteria for participating in the pilot program?
Participation is intended to be competitive and will be dependent on available budgets. To ensure the greatest success of the program, and to accommodate forecast budgets, eligibility will be limited in early years. For the pilot year, beginning in July 2010, the following eligibility criteria have been established high because of the limit of the number of participants: * At least ten years continuous Clemson University service (in a 100 percent fulltime-equivalent non-faculty classified or unclassified position) as of 12/31/2009 * Employee has been in their current position at least one year as of 12/31/2009 * February 2010 EPMS document rates them as ‘Successful’ or better * Employee has not had any formal documented HR disciplinary action within two years prior to 12/31/09 * Employee has not received a salary increase (other than COLA) within the last 2 years as of June 30, 2010 of 5% or greater. * Employee is not currently at the top of salary for their pay band * Employee is not
