What are the general education waivers that can be given for Regents exam scores, and am I eligible for them?
Students who went to high school in New York state and took the Regents exams my be eligible for 3 general education waivers. Students receiving 85+ on their foreign language Regents may be waived from the foreign language general education requirement. Students with 85+ on their Math B/Math III Regents may be waived from the math general education requirement. Students with 85+ on the US History Regents exam must still fill the US History general education requirement, but they have an expanded list of courses to choose from. Transfer students are eligible for these waivers.
