What are the game rules for Bejeweled?
The game rules themselves are relatively simple. Make horizontal or vertical rows of three or more identical gems, at which point those vanish and the ones above fall down. Gaps at the top are filled with a random selection of new gems. You can only swap any two given gems, and you are only allowed to make a swap if it will result in gems vanishing. Finally, if you cannot make any such moves, then it will end with a “No Moves Left!” message. There are two modes (three actually, I’ll explain below) of play, “Easy” which runs without a timer so you have as much time as you like for playing. This type of game can last an extremely long time as a result – an experienced player will make matches that increase the chance of future ones (making them near the top until none are available there, then move down and replace the upper row by making matches near the bottom, then going back up to the top again). “Timed” mode is exactly like “Easy”…except the bar at the bottom slowly decreases as w
