The CREST facility was built with a 3.2 million dollar grant from the City of Phoenix. This grant was awarded to the Paradise Valley Unified School District to build a school specializing in STEM education. The City of Phoenix has made a commitment to its residents to promote STEM education so that Arizona’s workforce will be able to compete in a global economy that requires 21st century skills.
