What are the funding options available to assist school districts in meeting the requirements of SSB 5097?
OSPI received funds to establish a grant program for school districts to address implementation of SSB 5097. More than 100 districts applied for and received funding under this grant program. Although funding for these grants has been exhausted, OSPI will continue working with stakeholder groups and the Legislature to establish funding to more adequately support this law.
