What are the Friends of Stevens Creek Trails creek and habitat projects?
We don’t have any ongoing creek and habitat projects but we do from time to time, so check with us. Often, even if we are not directly doing something in this area, we know of others who are, like the Santa Clara Valley Audubon Society or the Stevens and Permanente Creek Watershed Council. Top • Are volunteers needed? What do they get to do? YES! Activities vary with the season. Our two big volunteer events are an early spring Trail Work Day and the Trailblazer Race on the last Sunday in September. We can also use volunteers throughout the year to help with office work or positions on the Board of Directors. Cupertino, Sunnyvale and Los Altos residents are also needed at various times throughout the year to participate in their Parks and Recreation Committee meetings and City Council Meetings.
