What are the four divisions of the executive branch?
There are not four divisions of the executive branch. The U.S. Government has three branches. The purpose is to distribute power over three separate entities so no one can have enough power to control the whole government. The Executive Branch is one of the three branches. The Executive Branch is in charge of executing the laws of the land – that is enforcing them. The Legislative Branch is one of the three branches. It is responsible for enacting the laws of the land. The third branch is the Judicial Branch. The Supreme Court must make sure the laws made by Congress are in conformity with the U.S. Constitution.
