The Formatting tab is used for selecting the way you want dictated numbers to be displayed. For example, if you dictate the number three, you can choose to have it displayed as the number 3 as opposed to the word three. Formatting-2 tab is used for selecting the way you want dates and times displayed. For example, if you dictate the date “May 1st”, you can choose to have it displayed as May 1st or May first or 5/1. If you dictate 10:00 o’clock, you can choose to have it displayed as 10:00, 10:00 o’clock or ten o’clock.
