What are the formalities for traveling to the USA?
A candidate who is issued a USA immigrant visa travels to the United States when the local AAS office has determined that all formalities to commence work have been completed. Generally, the candidate will fly to Florida where the main office is located. During the stay in Florida, the nurse will apply for a social security number, open a bank account, and undergo further training. Upon completion of these requirements, the nurse flies to her final destination, which is one of the many HCA hospitals in the United States. The accommodation in Florida is exclusive only to the nurse. Families are not accommodated in the AAS guest house.
