What are The First Tee Nine Core Values?
The First Tee has established Nine Core Values that represent some of the many inherent values connected with the game of golf. These have been incorporated in The First Tee Program. The Nine Core Values are: Honesty, Integrity, Sportsmanship, Respect, Confidence, Responsibility, Perseverance, Courtesy, and Judgment. Impact beyond the program Golf is a sport, challenging and available to anyone, regardless of height, strength, or size. It is an individual sport, a lifetime sport, one that requires discipline and practice and provides mental and physical challenges. It appeals to many who have not had the interest or the ability to play traditional team sports. Children face significant challenges growing up into todays world.
