What are the fines associated with offences related to LSVs?
• Under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA), any person who commits an act while operating a LSV contrary to any of the LSV pilot’s regulations is guilty of an offence, and upon conviction, is liable to a minimum fine of $250 and maximum fine of $2,500. • Any person who commits an act while operating a LSV contrary to the regulations of the Act, or the Criminal Code, could have charges, and their subsequent penalties, laid under either or both.
