What are the fees?
There is an initial administrative fee you have to pay when you file a new claim. This fee depends on the type of dispute and the claim amount. You can use the Fee Calculator to calculate your initial fee even before filing a new claim. This is just the initial fee on the case. There may be additional fees. You will be informed about these fees by the case manager.
The fee is $295 (US$) for members of the Alexander Graham Bell Association and $395 (US$) for non-members. Payment is accepted in US dollars only and can be made by check, money order, VISA, MasterCard, or American Express. Checks should be made payable to the AG Bell Academy for Listening and Spoken Language®. Applicants will be assessed a $50 fee for bounced checks or declined credit cards. Payment must be submitted with the application.
The monthly account maintenance fee is $2.50/month for the Chase HSA Cash Account. There are no transaction fees for using the card at an ATM or point of sale. However, additional fees do apply for things like insufficient funds, additional cards, etc. For the Chase HSA Investment Account, there is an additional $2.50 monthly maintenance fee. A complete fee schedule is available when you enroll. If you are part of your employer’s HSA program, your fees may be different. Please check with your employer.
