What are the fees and fines if the material I borrowed is late or lost?

Fines for overdue 2-week loan items are $.10/day. Other items that are loaned for shorter periods (such as videos) may be as much as $1.00/day overdue. Please notify the library immediately when you feel you have lost an item, so we can stop the overdue fines from accumulating. If you do not return an item, it will be presumed lost and you will be charged replacement costs plus a processing fee. If you find an item that you have already paid for and it is undamaged, return it to the library and your payment will be refunded to you (however, you may be charged overdue fines). If your fines and fees add up to a large amount, a block may be placed on your record that will interfere with grades and transcripts being released.
