The M&IE for Chicago is $64.00 per day. The calculation for the first and last day of your travel is 75% of the $64.00 = $48.00. The conference lodging amount is $177. On your travel voucher, you must adjust your M&IE rate for the meals provided to you at FedFleet 2009. You must deduct the appropriate amount for each meal provided during your attendance, whether or not you had those meals. The value to be reduced for breakfast (provided Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) is $12.00. (Also Sunday for those attending the Basic Fleet Class and Monday for those attending the Aviation training.) The value to be reduced for lunch (provided Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) is $18.00. (Also Sunday for those attending the Basic Fleet Class and Monday for those attending the Aviation training.) The Monday evening Welcome Reception and the Wednesday evening Social Event will not provide dinner. You do NOT need to deduct from your daily per diem if you attend these events.
