ST. PAUL, Minn. — A collection of items from the Titanic is now at the Science Museum of Minnesota in St. Paul. “Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” tells the story of the hundreds of people aboard the ship through more than 200 artifacts and room recreations. About 1,500 people died when the so-called “unsinkable” ship sank after striking an iceberg on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in 1912. The exhibit also features the worldwide debut of artifacts from RMS Carpathia, the ship that answered Titanic’s distress call. It opened June 12 and runs through Jan. 3. Before St. Paul, the Titanic exhibit was at the Milwaukee Public Museum where it was the second-most popular exhibit ever. Sources: http://www.google.
