What are the features of the Robbins Study of Organizational Behavior?
The study opens with a description of all the activities which form a major part of KRAs for a manager. This includes all the managerial activities like Making decisions, allocating resources. This is succeeded by the Robbins definition of Organization. Organizational Behavior Robbins categorizes all the activities of the management into four categories – Organizing, Planning, Controlling and Leading. Robbins then uses the Mintzberg’s model for describing the different managerial roles. Robbins arrives at different categories of managers – Interpersonal, Informational, Decisional.
