The new scheme SSLC Examination 2008 is conducted on the basis of the syllabus and portion prescribed for the academic year 2006-2007. As per G.O.(MS) 148/07 dated 4-8-07 the PCN candidates (13 papers) under the scheme having 13 papers who are not eligible for higher studies even after the 2007 September Examination shall appear for the March 2008 Examination under new scheme as private candidate (PCN) in the syllabus and portions prescribed for the regular students come into force from 2006-07 academic year onwards (ie 10 papers). Regular students shall appear for the examination in new scheme under grading system for the academic year 2007-08 also. Candidates mentioned below who are not eligible for higher studies during 2006-07 shall appear for the examination under new scheme (10 papers) as private candidates.
