Textbooks: Faculty and other teaching staff must provide names of textbooks, other reading materials and a reading list (e.g., the sequence of the chapters or sections that will be assigned, not necessarily a syllabus) to the student or to the DRC as requested. Lead time is required for ordering, securing, and translating textbooks into alternative print formats, e.g., Braille, large print, taped text, e-text, tactile charts, graphs, and diagrams, Interpreter Services, and Real Time Captioning (CART) to ensure access to required course materials at the start of the semester. Deadlines for compliance are specific, e.g., within ten days of receipt of the written request from the DRC. Typically, this information is requested, via email, at the end of each priority enrollment period. By working closely with students and DPC DRC, and meeting requested deadlines for course reading lists, faculty and other teaching staff can ensure there is adequate time to translate materials into appropriat
