What are the facilities of the Dr Sun Yat-sen Museum?
A6:At a floor area of 2,560 square metres, the four-storey Museum premises has been equipped with the following facilities: (1) Two permanent exhibition galleries V cover the topics of “Dr Sun Yat-sen and Modern China” and “Hong Kong in Dr Sun Yat-sen’s Time”. With the display of invaluable artifacts, the life career of Dr Sun and the role of Hong Kong in the 1911 revolution have been comprehensively covered. (2) “History and Renovation of the Kom Tong Hall” Exhibition Gallery V introduces the brief history of the historic structure, as well as the process of its renovation from a private residence into a public museum. (3) Special Exhibition Gallery cum Lecture Hall V takes turn to stage thematic exhibitions and lectures on related topics of Dr Sun Yat-sen and the 1911 revolution. (4) Reading Room V provides a variety of books on Dr Sun Yat-sen and the 1911 Revolution for scholarly researches of the public.
