From its humble beginnings in the early 70’s, The University of Mississippi in Tupelo has grown to meet the ever-changing needs of its constituency. What began as a handful of courses offered in four rooms of a downtown office building has matured into more than 120 courses offered in a state-of-the-art facility—The Advanced Education Center. The Advanced Education Center is self-contained and features interactive videoconferencing facilities for distance learning and a networked computer lab.
