What are the facilities for children?

Each ski resort will have facilities for children and these are bookable locally. It is also generally possible to pre-book directly with the resort. Please see the advice panel on children. NB It is strongly advised to arrange helmets for your children, which can usually be booked through the office (depending on resort) or directly with the ski hire shop.

Most resorts have crèche facilities run by the local community. Reberty take children from age 3 months upwards. Meribel/Courchevel take age 18 months upwards. La Plagne from 3 months to 3 years. Val D’Isere from 3 years upward. In all cases the parents must supply a medical record plus a doctors letter to confirm their well-being.
