What are the extra tabs in the Assessment content item?
Assessments have additional capabilities which display within each of the content editor tabs. Most appear in Normal mode, but some require you to select the Advanced mode to set these options. • Access tab • Browser Security – allows the editor to open the quiz/survey in a new browser window (using Medium security) disabling common browser functions. • IP Filter – restrict quiz or survey access to a specific IP address • Interaction tab • Display Mode – determines how the questions are displayed. • Randomize the order in which questions are delivered – displays questions randomly for each student. This option is available only for quizzes. • Randomize the order of each question’s answer options – displays the order of answer choices for multiple choice, multiple select, matching and ordering question types randomly.
