Trust expenses for SPDRs and MidCap SPDRs are generally lower than the management fees for most competing mutual funds currently on the market. Annual expenses for SPDRs are 0.12%; for MidCap SPDRs, annual expenses are 0.25%. In other words, the annual cost of a $10,000 investment in SPDRs would be $12.00, and the annual cost of the same size investment in MidCap SPDRs would be $25.00. SPDRs and MidCap SPDRs are subject to ordinary brokerage commissions, which vary among brokers.
