What are the eVoice Receptionist SmartExtensions and Destination Numbers?
Your eVoice Receptionist telephone number comes with multiple SmartExtensions , which can forward calls to outside phone numbers, referred to as Destination Numbers . When you first sign up for eVoice Receptionist, you are asked to choose a number of SmartExtensions to meet your needs. This allows your callers to direct their call to the appropriate department or person. Once a SmartExtension is dialed, you can set that particular SmartExtension to automatically forward the caller to that SmartExtension’s Voice Message mailbox or to business or personal phone number(s), where live calls can be answered – these are your Destination Numbers.
