What are the events which make up the Nautica NYC Triathlon for Tuesday’s Children?
Tuesday’s Children is calling all triathletes who have interest in entering the Nautica NYC Triathlon, an Olympic Distance race consisting of a 1500m swim, a 40k bike, and a 10K run. Each year over 3,000 athletes swim the Hudson River before biking along Manhattan’s West Side highway. Finally, athletes put on their running shoes for a run through New York’s famed Central Park. The 2010 race date is July 18, 2010 and Tuesday’s Children has been offered spots for the Nautica and would like to see who might be interested in participating. This event closed out last year in 22 minutes so this is a special opportunity! Each participant is asked to raise $2,500 for the spot on the Tuesday’s Children team.
