This year’s annual United Nations ministerial conference on climate change will take place in Nairobi on November 6-17. As was done last year, two meetings will be held simultaneously: the twelfth conference of parties to the UNFCCC (COP-12) and the second meeting of parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP-2). Each is supported by subsidiary bodies meeting at official level.
