What are the essential person specification criteria to become a College Assessor?
• Must be a substantive consultant or honorary consultant in the NHS and in active practice for a minimum of five years • Must be a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons of England NB: If you are not a member of RCS, you can join through the ad eundum route. This is where College Trustees grant a FRCS ad eundum to those who have taken their fellowship exam at another College. This would require a fellow of this College to recommend you in writing for the FRCS ad-eundum. Please contact us for more details.
